Warwick – R&D Workshop…New EV Battery Testing Facility
Commercial Workspace Consultants Ltd have recently completed an enhancement to an Electric Vehicle Transmission developer’s workshop. We carried out the main build of these premises back in 2017 and were now asked to reorganize the area to make way for an installation of several EV Battery testing cabinets. Our remit covered:
- Carefully taking down sections of partition wall & ceilings
- Removal and relocation of power, lighting, data and heating services
- Formation of new walls and doorsets
- New power containment traywork
- Removal of high level Reznor type gas heater
- Bespoke made steelwork to install a mini storage deck mezzanine type floor
- New gantry mounted LED lighting for machine shop
- Repainted the walls & partitions throughout
- Installed new safety flooring
The space is now up & running since the installation of the testing cabinets via a German supplier.
